“No Drilling Holes” design model.
(For sit-on-Top kayaks) This Skimmer model consists of a lightweight, portable trolling motor and shaft, which mounts directly to a battery box in the kayak well. The connector is made of strong polymer/aluminum “Tee” configuration. The “Tee” connects with bolts to the battery box with 1 “stainless steel bolts. The motor is snapped in, and secured with stainless steel cotter pins. This model is for sit-on-top kayaks with a well only. The steering mechanism (optional) is a tiller style anodized aluminum tube which adjust sizes from 27” to 57”.

Installation:
Attach the Polymer/aluminum Tee to a secured Battery Box or Milk Crate in the well of the kayak behind the paddler’s seat. Snap the Motor Shaft into the “U” and secure in place with a cotter pin.

Attach the on/off controls wire and the Tiller style steering system,
and you’re ready.

Secure your Skimmer to the stern of your kayak with three bolt and wing nuts (supplied) for those with access to the inside stern, or three rivet s for riveting for those with limited or without access. (requires rivet gun)
